Cedar House, on Pinchbeck Road in Spalding, is a crucial support for so many vulnerable people and their loved ones. Catering to the special and complex needs of particular adults, the respite centre offers something precious: the rest and peace of mind brought by knowing that skilled and understanding staff provide care for their loved ones.
With an intimate knowledge of each individual’s unique needs, and the expertise to accommodate them, the staff at Cedar House have distinguished themselves as an irreplaceable part of the care which vulnerable people in our area deserve.
For this reason, I am urging the Lincolnshire County Council to abandon their proposal, that has caused such anxiety for the carers and families of vulnerable people, to close the respite centre and relocate its residents.
